Researching Job Profiles
As I have previously looked at there are many job careers within the area of graphic design. When finishing a university qualification there will be opportunity to start looking for work in the area that you have graduated in. Here I will be specifically looking at graphic design. I have been looking at a website that is for the purpose of helping graduates find a job when they leave university which is; www.prospects.ac.uk.
On here I have read the profile of a graphic designer (http://ww2.prospects.ac.uk/p/types_of_job/graphic_designer_job_description.jsp). I think that this is a good description of a graphic designer however it is rather quite open and versatile. For me personally I would quite like to look at the more specific profiles. Unfortunately the prospects website does not have a wide range of job profiles that are similar so I will have to widen my search on the internet for more specific profiles that are different to the generic animator, illustrator, printmaker etc.
